Game Overview

ProTender is a strategic negotiation game where players take on different roles in a business ecosystem. Players must negotiate deals, manage resources, and make strategic decisions to maximize their score by the end of the game.


Game Structure

Game Phases

  • Setup Phase: Players are assigned roles and initial resources
  • Negotiation Phase: Players can negotiate deals and form contracts
  • Production Phase: Players produce resources based on their role
  • Resolution Phase: Contracts are fulfilled and points are awarded

Game Progression

  • Games consist of multiple rounds (typically 10)
  • Each round goes through all four phases
  • Players take turns during each phase
  • The game ends after the final round or when a player reaches a winning score

Player Roles

Each player is assigned a role that determines their starting resources, production capabilities, and special abilities.

Producer

Specializes in creating raw materials and products. Starts with production facilities.

Merchant

Expert at buying and selling. Can get better deals in negotiations.

Investor

Starts with more capital. Can invest in other players' ventures for passive income.
