Game Rules

Negotiations are the core of the ProTender game:

• Players can offer contracts to other players during the Negotiation Phase
• Contracts specify what resources are being exchanged
• Both parties must accept a contract for it to become binding
• Contracts are fulfilled during the Resolution Phase
• Failed contracts may result in penalties

The game features various resources that players can produce, trade, and use:

• Money: The basic currency used for transactions
• Raw Materials: Used to create products
• Products: Finished goods that can be sold for profit
• Facilities: Increase production capacity

During the Production Phase, players can:

• Convert raw materials into products
• Invest in new facilities
• Research new production methods

Points are awarded for:

• Successfully fulfilling contracts
• Accumulating wealth (money)
• Building production capacity
• Completing special objectives

The game ends when:

• The maximum number of rounds has been played
• A player reaches the target score (if specified)

The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins.

Expert players consider these strategies:

• Supply Chain Mastery: Create vertical integration by securing both raw materials and production capacity
• Specialization: Focus on one resource type and become the dominant supplier
• Strategic Alliances: Form long-term partnerships with other players for mutual benefit
• Market Manipulation: Create artificial scarcity to drive up prices
• Diversification: Spread investments across multiple resource types to reduce risk
